A New Englander in Georgia: The General Muir

the general muir

We ate at The General Muir in Atlanta at an awkward time- two minutes after breakfast had officially ended, while the staff was hard at work prepping food for lunch. Nonetheless, all the people were very friendly and talkative, even as they ran around like mad.

They only had their limited menu available, but that didn’t matter- all the options sounded delicious. I went for the Avenue A on a salt bagel- nova (salmon),  schmear (cream cheese for us northerners), avocado, grapefruit, cucumber, onion, and dill. I finished it, but barely, and was full for hours.

avenue a at general muir Top marks for presentation and deliciousness!

Their full menu looked amazing as well, and they have a deli that I would love to order my way through, so I’ll be sure to stop by when that’s available.
