I’ve been enjoying the first part of June so much that I have neglected my garden a little. Everything has survived, thankfully, but I know I have some serious weeding and staking to do!
I’ve been picking the basil and using it to make sandwiches with sundried tomato paste, tomatoes, and mozzarella. It tastes like summer and is one of my seasonal favorites.
It’s been a good month so far, but I need to get out and play in the dirt more. I’m really looking forward to eating all the veggies that will soon (hopefully) be abundant.
