A New Englander in ATL: Revolution Donuts

Revolution Donuts are seriously life changing. No more Dunkin Donuts for me after tasting these doughy pieces of heaven.

We stopped by Revolution Donuts on a weekday morning around 8 am and it was busy. Most of the tables were taken and there was a line that ended at the door. I can’t even imagine what the weekend crowd would be like.

It was a cool looking store, but I was much more interested in all the delightful goodies than the decor.

It took me a couple of close inspections of the donut case to decide on what to order as they all looked so good! We decided on 4- a salted caramel with bacon, an apple fritter, a maple bourbon cronut, and an egg cream. We also got coffee (they serve cafe campesino coffee, which I had for the first time last year. I highly recommend the Ethiopian Yirgacheffe!). All the donuts were delicious, but my favorite might have been the apple fritter. So delicious and cinammony and huge!

I’m still dreaming about the donuts a week later…
